The Bitunit Foundation is determined to educate the masses on Bitcoin and other blockchain technology applications, to help increase the understanding of the concepts of blockchain technology, and to promote it's acceptance in improving the business and economic environment of developing economies.
There are a lot of diverse and competing technologies and services in the fledgling new blockchain and crypto-currency industries. Navigating all the hype and information can be daunting. Discover the subtle but imporant differences in the different classes of blockchains, infrastructure, and services being offered.
Martin is a full-time Bitcoin enthusiast from the very beginning of the cryptocurrency era. As a voluntarist, he thinks that statism is a crime and thinks about how to make the Bitcoin world a better place. For him, the most exiting thing is its political aspect - you and only you control your wealth.
Having lost quite some Bitcoins in the past, Martin understood that centralized exchanges are in no way different than normal banks, where you give up control over your money. This inspires him to create a service for the Bitcoin world where the Bitcoins are always safe and in control of the users.
Robert is an accomplished presenter and educator on blockchain technology. His diverse entrepreneurial background stretches over 15 years with projects ranging from technology, to finance, to building services, and community activism.

Robert is currently the founder of the Silicon Valley funded blockchain startup Monetsu.com, is a former prize winner in the 2014 Global Bitcoin 2.0 Hackathon, and founder of the Vancouver Bitcoin meetup.
 Brock has been working in the digital currency space since early 2013. Besides giving training on Bitcoin and blockchain technologies, he also works full time as a computer technician in Iowa. He has over 10 years of experience working in various IT career fields including Application Analyst, Financial Systems Analyst and Help Desk Analyst. Brock lives in West Des Moines Iowa.
TimothyCurryis passionate about promoting disruptive technologies which reduce cost, streamline productivity, improve connectivity, promote commerce and inspire unity. Timothyhas been an avid Bitcoin and Blockchain enthusiast since shortly after being introduced to the technology back in February of 2013. Timothy’s knowledge, personality and enthusiasmgrant him guest speaker invitations for various events, conferences, and seminars.
Andrew got his start in the Bitcoin industry by convincing local businesses in Vancouver to adopt it for payment. He was a co-founder of the Bitcoin Co-op, for whom he signed up numerous business to accept Bitcoin including the world’s first Indian restaurant, the cafe where the world’s first Bitcoin ATM was launched, and many more. Even his Bitcoin tattoo is paid for with BTC!
He later went on to found CoinFest, the world’s first decentralized and open source convention about cryptocurrency. Following its success, he became a notable writer in the crypto community, and is an educator at Meet Ups, conferences, and even government workshops! He now travels the world spreading the word of Satoshi.
Chief Architect and Founder of Factom
Paul Snow has been writing compilers, interpreters, and Rules Engines for use in graphics, embedded systems, and web applications for over 30 years. Paul has been an early proponent of Bitcoin, and founded the Texas Bitcoin Conference held in the spring in Austin Texas. He also designed the core technology for Factom, and founded Factom in 2014. Factom implements a general purpose data layer for the Bitcoin blockchain. Factom allows general purpose data to be secured by the Bitcoin blockchain.
Sika Boateng is a graduate from the Takoradi Polytechnic of Ghana, and is an entrepreneur who is dedicated to promoting prosperity through entrepreneurship, education, and crypto-currencies. He has talent in making locally handmade products. He created a new platform on Facebook called Afriworks, which has helped locals get hand products out to other countries abroad. Most importantly it sells products for Bitcoin.
Richmond Asumin, nickname Colours, was given to him for his talent in the music industry. He is President of BitUnit Foundation, and also a marketing professional at Afriworks. He has teamed up with his friends to help create Bitcoin awareness in all of Africa and to help young entrepreneurs with brainstorming free market ideas. He is also interested in helping fight diseases and take people out of poverty with Bitcoin.
